These access quests are no longer required to enter the zone. But finishing them gives you Samirah's mirror that gives easier access from Desert of Flames zones. The location of the Mirror in which you can zone into The Shimmering Citadel is at 884, -177, -1595 in the Pillars of Flame.

To obtain access, you must complete The Master's Museum, The Caretaker, and Be Careful What You Wish For.
Within The Poets Palace are additional quests. These include quests for accessing the next floor (3 in total) and In the Djinn Master's Service, which requires Be Careful What You Wish For.
