Talk to The Muse in the Shimmering Citadel and ask her about beauty.
- Each update requires you to sit in the spot about 2-3 minutes.
- Once you move away you will recieve the update.
- Goto the fountain just outside the tower the Muse is in 142.29, 143.44, -28.57 . Just sit next to or on the edge of it.
- Go to Pirate's Perch Island in The Sinking Sands. ( -2036, -158, 92,, ) . It's the island directly southeast of the docks. you will need to climb a couple of walls to reach the tree. Once you get there sit under the tree to get the update. NOTE: I suggest killing the few asps around the big palm tree in the middle as they can interrupt you sitting. Also you can only get this update during daylight hours.
- Last update is in the Pillars of Flame near the ashen order camp at 348, -154, -1661 . Go to the first island down the wall near the camp entrance. There is a large group of disciples training in front of a very large tree. It is the first island, not the one with the harpies. Sit for update.
Return to the Muse for your reward.

Sat under the tree on the second level of the pirate perch island for like 3 or 4 mins and ran towards edge (LOC in quest description above) and it updated. 926am game time
Although the quest states its not on the island with the harpies, that is where i received my update and it was 222AM in game. I stood at the tree for a couple of real time minutes and then ran toward the wall and the quest updated.

Sit at tree for a minute or so - then return to the climbable wall and the quest should update. 9pm game time.

One thing to keep in mind is that it says in the 'Shade' of a palm tree. You only get the update for this during daylight hours.

The correct location is the one listed by Pashta. Its basically between the tree and the rocks near edge of the plateau. I took friend to it this morning and it worked after a minute or so. Updates after you stand up and move around a little.

Well, i've sat at the Pirate's Perch loc for as long as 5 minutes and no updates. Anyone gotten this update recently?

Ok, got the update now. Loc was: -2036, +90. It was gotten by running to the stone edge facing the sunken pirate ship facing south.

Well, the fountain was a bit tricky, as I tried to figure it out and sat everywhere around it, but it turned out that I checked out oGaming and found +162, -31 we accurate from Wooze.
The Ashen Order monks were easy, just walked around tree on the far side and bang, got the update.
The Pirate's Perch is prooving to be a little more tricky. I sat there for about 3-4 mins and moved around - nothing. Tried to sit and I got this strange text - "You leave the top of the island, but don't feel any more enlightened about why the Muse recommended you draw inspiration from the area". I read the posts and it says to leave, but that never worked. Even left the island and back again - nothing. Not too sure about this one.

I stood there for a couple of minutes and when I read his comment I left the palm tree.

Ok, I had been running to PoF when I needed to sit under the Palm...makes ure u don't need to sit under the pal..if you do then you need to go to the pal on the rock just south of one rock isle.

I was having trouble with the Pirate's Perch step, but it triggered when I left the area. That might be the problem other people are having. You'll get a message that says "You leave...", signaling it's time to leave the area, and the update triggers as you leave.

I had to sit in the middle of the big group of monks doing their routines.
-351, -155, -1643 to get an update. Might have even updated before I sat down. Just move around and inbetween the monks.

i have waited at (+348, -154, -1661) for 20 min and no update.

I sat/stood/lied by that three for half an hour but i can't seem to get any update.
In my log i will have the tekst "you sat at the bonsai... but you dont understand why..."
But the quest will not advance. Is there any order to do these in since i have not yet been in the golden scepter at this point.

So you know you dont need to sit, at least i didnt have to and i recieved the update fairly fast but it could have been 2 or 3 min im not sure.

I've done as the Muse suggested.
I've spoken with the Muse.I've visited the various places the Muse told me to, and while she says that beauty can be reconsidered, such platitudes may not necessarily be true.
Stage 1
