Stage 1

Preceptor Nyjuss has informed me that he's learned of a plan crafted by Freeport traitors loyal to the Ebon Mask to spring Opal Darkbriar from her cell. It seems that she has some valuable information that she must get to Queen Cristanos Thex. I must find her and kill her before she can get to the Queen.I've slain Opal Darkbriar as decreed. I should now return to Preceptor Nyjuss and inform him of the note I found on the body of Opal Darkbriar.

Stage 2

Return to the Preceptor and inform him of my success. He will be interested in seeing the note I found on the body of Opal as well.I've spoken with the Preceptor and given him the note.

Stage 3

Preceptor Nyjuss has informed me that Opal Darkbriar was working for Mayong Mistmoore through the Drachnid Queen, but had been planning on selling some information about the Fang of Ichor to Queen Cristanos Thex as well. It seems as though she was really trying to make herself a hefty coin purse. If the Drachnid Queen has any information, she must be slain. Word of the recent finding of the Fang of Ichor cannot spread.Slaying the Drachnid Queen will keep her silent. I should get back to the Preceptor and show him this strange tablet that I found in the clutches of the Queen.

Stage 4

I should return to the Preceptor and give him the tablet I found on the corpse of the Drachnid Queen.I've given the tablet to the Preceptor and it seems that this tablet has instructions on how the Fang of Ichor can be returned to its full strength.

Stage 5

Preceptor Nyjuss has told me that the tablet I've brought to him told of another way to empower the weapon. It says that the heart of a great underwater beast must be collected from the deep. I should travel to Chelsith and slay the Leviathan, collecting its heart in the process.I've slain the Leviathan and claimed its heart as instructed. I should return to Preceptor Nyjuss and discern the direction of my next task.

Stage 6

I've slain the Leviathan creature and claimed its blackened heart as it is written on the tablet I brought to Preceptor Nyjuss.I've returned to the Preceptor and shown him the black heart I collected from the corpse of the Leviathan.

Stage 7

Preceptor Nyjuss says the tablet reads that a soul must be taken from one of the 'children of the first' and they must be slain with the Fang of Ichor. When this creature is slain, the blackened heart will act as a catalyst to draw the soul into the weapon. He was VERY clear in telling me that the heart of the Leviathan MUST be held in my other hand when I attempt to take the soul.Slaying the dragon Druushk with the Fang of Ichor while holding the heart of the Leviathan worked! The soul of Druushk was drawn into the weapon and its been infused with power. I have to report this to Preceptor Nyjuss, I'm sure he will be excited to hear this.

Stage 8

I should take the empowered Fang of Ichor back to Preceptor Nyjuss.I've returned to Preceptor Nyjuss. For my dedication and service, the Overlord granted me keeping of the weapon. I'll be putting it to good use I'm sure. Heh.
