Killed 35 Samiel Outfitters before i got all 8 updates. Wasnt to hard there respawn time is like 5 mins and there are a few in groups of three with two down arrows.

You dont get an actual reward item for these 2 quests. the idol and the necklace are both updates to the "A Damsel in distress" quest

You must read the note before you get to the top of the island. If you read the note while you are at the top climb back down. When you climb back up the pirates will spawn.

killed over 20 before first one updated ,be pateint,i had to kill around 50 to get 8 updates !

i am on damsel in distress and went to barter lord tum inthe golden scepter. he didn't give me the idol! is it bugged? all he says is that he has it

After u get 8 updates from outfitters u will receive note into inventory. You MUST read it before u continue to boneyard!!!!!
When u read it quest will advance to kill pirates at the top of boneyard and when u kill then u can examine the crate.

Ive killed the pirates and the chest is not clickable. Any ideas?

FYI: it only required 8 updates from the outfitters who are located on the extreme end of the beach south from the docks. However, I had to kill may more than that to get the necessary 8.

I only had to find 8 random updates from the Samiel Outfitters. They are located to the far south end of the beach from the docks. They can see through level 40's invis.

Can anyone tell me where the samiel outfitters are? I have been all up and down the beach and all 3 islands.

Brigand boneyard is the island to the east of the docks..there are two islands, the one you want is to the left, with a flat top. If you swim toward it from the docks, a climable wall will become visible as you approach it. You climb the wall from the water. As soon as you climb the wall, two pirates spawn. Kill them, and the small crate becomes clickable.
There's also a named chest up there that drops some nice loot.

Dont forget to examine the note you get at the end of the outfitters before you head for the island.We hunted for a half hour before we realized it.

I've been killing the pirate the pop in the boneyard and not getting any update. the box is not clickable.

Barter Lord Jal'Daris has agreed to trade me the Idol of Dunefury for my services. He wants me to track down cargo destined for Maj'Dul, but plundered by pirates, Samiel pirates.
I retrieved most of the stolen cargo in the Sinking Sands from the Samiel outfitters
I went to the top of Graveyard Nest and dispatched the Samiel guarding the remainder of the Far sands cargo.
I have all of the cargo that was stolen from the Far Sands ship by the Samiel pirates.
I returned to Maj'Dul and delivered the stolen goods to Barter Lord Jal'Daris.I managed to acquire all of the plundered cargo destined for Maj'Dul via the Far Sands cargo ship. He has traded me the Idol of Dunefury for this service. For some reason, I think I just delivered the cargo to the wrong person!
Stage 1
I must go the coastline of the Sinking Sands and seek out the pirates that would be holding onto the stolen cargo, outfitters to the pirates possibly.| Start: | Hunt for the Samiel outfitters in Sinking Sands. |

This quest is a sub-quest of the quest A Damsel in Distress. You must be on that quest to receive this one. It is given by Barter Lord Tum Jal'Daris in the Golden Scepter.
You must collect 8 auto-updating drops from Samiel Outfitters in the Sinking Sands. This will automatically give you a note in your inventory. You MUST examine the note in order to advance the quest.
Then recover cargo from the Brigand Boneyard, which is at the top of the island just north of Hullcrusher Rock and east of docks. You will need to climb the wall and kill two pirates at the top ( -1920, -200, -570 ) . After they're dead, you can examine the crate there.
After this return to Barter Lord Tum Jal'Daris for your reward.
