Finishing the Negotiations  

Try checking your inventory. Mine was in there.

Ok I have killed the runners and killed the orcs; now it says read and decode the message. I don't have any message and Brandus won't finish the quest says come back when you have completed your task. Anyone know what the problem is?

These messengers are ^^^^ heroic. They're level 12 but one of them (the only one encountered) hit my level 15 for damage in the upper 80's twice. Then landed some 60's, 30's, and 20's.

You won't be soloing this, at least not very easily, unless your character is far above this task's level.

This quest is given after "Starting the Negotiations". Brandus sends you to Captain Vertas at the Crossroads. Once you speak to the Captain, you go back to Brandus and tell him what he said (although I must have missed it, I don't recall Vertas saying anything about the dervishes & orcs). Then Brandus sends you to kill the orc runners and bloodskull warriors.

Talking to the Captain opens up another set of quests, starting with "Trouble About" that results in a ring that gets upgraded several times.

"A Meeting Interrupted" is the next and last quest from Brandus.

Brandus sends you out to kill 3 orc runners. Thes I found at approximately -490, -46, 643... they seem to run across this general area. After this you have to kill a "number" (i killed maybe 10-20) of lone bloodskull warriors. Then you give brandus the decoded message and he gives you 10s and some Worn Militia Pants
