Court of the Blades: Dukaris, Hero of the People  

A remark on the pristine nacre earring:
You can craft it, when you have a jeweller -
but you need someone to give it to and have
it handed back to you.

The game wont recognize it, when your jeweller crafts it,
puts it into the bank and you take it out with another
char. (It's still the same account.)

I have indifferent faction with all 3 factions in maj dul, so I cannot get into any of their towers. Is there a way to gain faction with all, or a way around this, so I can start these quests?

Dukaris spawned for me at the same point that Ulric mentioned. (Thanks, Ulric. I would've gone ballistic in a few more minutes of wandering.)

I had a pristine fashioned nacre earring in my inventory before I got to the step that asks for the earring. I got to the step finally and didn't get an update. Thinking I had chosen the wrong earring I had a jeweler make me one. He gave me the exact same earring THEN I got an update. So apparently you must buy the earring after the quest asks for it in order to get an update even if you have the earring in your inventory. Or maybe you could give it to someone else and then have them give it back to you, I don't know, I didn't try that

Dukaris does not spawn at the update spot, say your leaving clefts of rujark. The trail splits left and right. On the left is where the update spot was, you need to go right. When you do, walk down the path a little (towards the docks) and he should spawn as a hailable npc.

To get the battlemaster to spawn, go to your map of SS and click on waypoints. There will be a waypoint for this quest that will lead you to where he spawns! Easy enough!

I am having the same problem, Dukaris doesn't spawn when I run over the spot. If anyone has any info on this it'd be greatly appreciated!

The oracle is located on a climable wall in sabertooth valley on side near prophets peak if you look up in rocks you will see a tent oracle is there

Quest starter: Dukaris, he is located on the second floor inside of Court of the Blades.

Step 1: Killing rival faction's tower captains

-Just go to the coin and truth towers and clear to the top to kill the captains on the top floors.

-Return back to Dukaris for Step 2.


Step 2: Delivering gifts in the name of Dukaris

-Steward of the Vizier - Located inside of The Tower of the Moon zone, second floor.

-Ahzeem the Bartermaster - Located within the Golden Scepter (Western Side of zone), go straight once inside of the building, he will be on the left just on the other side of the fountain located in the middle of the first floor.

-a young beggar (actual name is Fezi) - Located east of Court of Truth (Eastern side of zone), on the level farthest from the Arena of Maj'Dul, northern area of the lowest tier.

-Return back to Dukaris for Step 3.


Step 3: Deliver orders to the captains (WARNING: 60 Minute Timer).

-Captain Aziz - Located right outside Court of the Blades zone in.

-Captain Fayiz - Located by the zone in outside the Library of Light.

-Captain Yuleed - Located on the north side of the arena building.

-Return back to Dukaris for Step 4.


Step 4: Materials for Dukaris' cape

-Collect 25 "tough, pristine lizardman scales." (Kill Lizardmen by the Twin Tears).

-Collect a "pristine Nacre Earring" to use as a brooch. (Jeweler made T6 earring).

-Return back to Dukaris for Step 5.


Step 5: Scouting the Sinking Sands

-Anaz Mal Camp - Northern side of the smaller pond in SS, trigger at (-420, -140, -1270)

-Raef Ew - Southwestern side of the larger pond in SS, trigger at (-420, -120, -670)

-Rujarkian Battlemaster - outside the mouth of the canyon to Clefts zone in, trigger at (-630, -110, -190)

-Return back to Dukaris for Step 6.


Step 6: Protect Dukaris from the Rujarkian Battlemaster

-Head out to SS again to the last location you found for the Rujarkian Battlemaster in Step 5.

-Dukaris will spawn by where the trigger is, hail him and begin the fight and make sure to keep agro off of him (he tanks really ******).



Reward(s):
+5000 Status with Blade faction
15 or so gold
And your choice of shoulder slot item.

the 3 locations for sinking sands

Lizardman camp: Their is a sloped area at either end that leads down to the water. update is at one of the slopes.
Gnoll camp: same as above, cept in gnoll area
Clefts: right before you enter clefts, walk around in the area where the 3 roads meet.

Protect Dukaris, same spot as the clefts area you scouted, when you go to SS a waypoint will show you the way to go.
