It seems that Dartain had a great deal of concern about the influence of the Underfoot on the Hole, and believed that he could counter the forces of Below. However, the reason that he left Paineel is still a mystery. It seems that he made his way to the Observatory known as Dartain's Eye shortly after he left the city. I should head there, and search for more clues.

Stage 1

I must meet with Falizar D'Narin, the head scholar at Dartain's Eye.

Start:	Find Falizar D'Narin.
Complete:	I have spoken with Falizar D'Narin.

Start:	I must collect pieces of the geodes in order to repair the Attunement Crystal.
Complete:	I was able to collect enough of the necessary crystals.

Start:	Return the crystals to Falizar at the Eye of Dartain.
Complete:	I have given Falizar the crystals.

I have met with Falizar D'Narin, who believes that Dartain had some interest in the Void.

Stage 2

I will need to search for Kluhb, the Seal-Guardian within the Hole, and obtain his resonating heart.

Start:	I must collect Kluhb's resonating heart.
Complete:	I have collected the resonating heart.

Start:	I should return the resonating heart to Falizar in the Eye of Dartain.
Complete:	I have returned the resonating heart to Falizar.

Start:	I should affix these geode pieces to the Attunement Crystal in the Eye of Dartain.
Complete:	I have activated the crystal.

Start:	I need to listen to the message the projected erudite has.
Complete:	I have heard the message it relayed.

Start:	I should speak with Falizar.
Complete:	According to Falizar, Dartain made his way to North Odus, passing through Toxxulia Forest.

I have repaired the attuning crystal.

I was able to find out that Dartain was headed to some place in North Odus, likely traveling through Toxxulia Forest on his way there. One of the scholars of Dartain's Eye believes that a colleague of his might have some information as to Dartain's possible activities as he passed through the forest.

Speak with Falizar D'Narin at 1825, 5, 4357 in the Eye of Dartain.
Collect 10 pieces of the geodes, an uncommon update from boulder dashers and summoned bastions in The Petrified Badlands.
Return to Falizar.
Collect the resonating heart from Kluhb, the Seal Guard-Champion, the Seal Guard-Champion in The Hole.
Return to Falizar.
Click the platform at 1798.02, -0.44, 4307.85 and speak with a projected erudite.
Return to Falizar.
