Magnurmal claims that the sootfoot goblins have been stealing the rare gems she wanted! Go and kill any 8 sootfoot goblins in Najena's Valley. This is an uncommon auto-update.

Return to Magnurmal to finish the quest. Magnurmal seems alarmed that you had to kill the goblins to get the gems, but then puts it out of her mind (not a long throw).

Magnurmal, another member of the Sootfoot Talent Society, had heard of my attempts to help the goblin clan. She suspects that members of the goblin clan have been hoarding the rarest gems for themselves and has tasked me with finding the pocketed gem stones.

Stage 1

Magnurmal wants me to collect gem stones from the Sootfoot goblins.

Start:	I must collect brilliant gem stones from the Sootfoot goblins working in Najena's Valley.
Complete:	I have all the brilliant gem stones that Magnurmal wanted me to track down.

I should return to Magnurmal now that I have the brilliant gems that she wanted me to find.

Start:	I should return to Magnurmal at the Sootfoot Talent Society tent near Fennin's Pass in Lavastorm and give her the brilliant gem stones I got from the Sootfoot workers.
Complete:	I spoke with Magnurmal.

I returned to Magnurmal with the brilliant gem stones.

Magnurmal, a member of the Sootfoot Talent Society, was thankful when I returned to her with the brilliant gem stones that the Sootfoot workers had been pocketing for themselves, but she was angry that I had taken them by force. Oh, well.
