I met with a kerran scout named Darga Fleetpaw. She mentioned that she was with a group of explorers who had gone to the Vicious Breeding Grounds to research the appearance of a creature they called the wind komodo. She asked that I meet with Captain Velgre, who has been working to protect them.

Stage 1

I must collect grubs for Captain Velgre. I should be able to find them around the Vicious Breeding Grounds.

I have returned the grubs to Captain Velgre.

I was able to collect some grubs for Captain Velgre, which should help him with the first part of his plan.

Speak to Darga Fleetpaw at the Vicious Breeding Grounds in Tenebrous Tangle ( 513, -151, 240 ) . You must be a level 60+ crafter to begin this quest.

Speak to Captain Velgre at 718, -164, 250 .
Collect grubs from Porous Rocks found around the tree house and surrounding area. These are dark grey rocks.
Return to Captain Velgre to complete the quest.
