Speak to Captain Velgre at the Vicious Breeding Grounds in Tenebrous Tangle ( 718, -164, 250 ) to begin this quest.

Scribe the Recipe: Grub Bait that Captain Velgre gave you.
Make 5 Grub Baits in the Brewing Pot on the other side of the treehouse at 736, -161, 231 . You'll need:

5 Large Grubs (obtained during previous quest)
5 hanging roots (t7 harvest)
5 scintillating kindling (fuel, can purchase from Chans Ellin in the upper part of the treehouse)

Place bait in the traps. Known locations:

668, -164, 259
670, -164, 275
603, -154, 246
589, -155, 216
623, -159, 204

Return to Captain Velgre to complete the quest.

Captain Velgre has asked that I cook up some bait that we can use to bait the drakes and keep them away from the wind komodos. I should make the bait, then place it in the traps in the Vicious Breeding Grounds.

Stage 1

I should use the grubs I collected to create bait for the drakes on the Vicious Breeding Grounds.

I was able to make the bait, and place it in the traps.

I returned the bait to the traps, which should hopefully keep the drakes from getting too close to the wind komodos, at least for the time being.
