Seeking the Past  

This is one of several Court of Truth faction raising quests given by Taj As'ad ( -1448, 0, -428 Copy ) near the docks in the Sinking Sands.

After you've helped Taj As'ad with a few level 45 quests, he'll ask you whether you're willing to help with more important tasks. If you accept, he asks you to find various objects in the northern area of the zone.

You must:

• Collect 5 Ancient Baubles from the Around the Ruins in the Stilled Sea. These are possible updates from collecting the "Shineys" tagged as Ancient Debris that ground spawn near -1240, -235, -830 Copy to -1017.40, 0, -865.33 Copy , especially around The Sunken Spire -1025.77, -106.87, -885.32 Copy .
• Collect Ancient Trinkets from the Undead that wander the Stilled Sea. These may drop from Ghouls; skeletal cobras; unliving trackers, soldiers etc. around the Sunken Spire; and other undead mobs.
• Transcribe Runes at the Eye of Anuk. You do this by swimming to the tunnel at -890.07, -235.07, -1255.48 Copy in the Bay of Anuk, or you can climb down the Eye of Anuk. This is a vertical cave in the northern part of the zone. Once inside you must examine and transcribe the runes at the Ancient Tablet at -923.03, -233.41, -1216.45 Copy . Then right click the Ancient Inscribed Pillar at -972.84, -232.64, -1204.06 Copy .

Be careful there are scouts in the area that can see through invis/stealth. After completing the quest, return to Taj for the quest reward, some coin and 7500 Truth faction. You lose 7500 of the Blades and Coin factions.
