Examine a glowing book open on a table in the Netherflame Forge of The Deep Forge to receive On Summoning a Greater Fire Elemental - by Master Elementalist Najena. Examine the book to start this quest.

Find a Flint Streaked Summoning Orb

Everyone in the party will receive this drop when you kill Firelord Kaern, and the quest will auto-update when you loot it.

Barter the manual and summoning orb to Taxaynir L'Nvir outside Najena's Dungeon. This is the same NPC that gave you the quest, Spurning the Spurned.

Trivia	This is, without a doubt, the very same book from which Cruhm the Overseer learned his fatal final trick. Read with extreme caution!

I've found a manual written by none other than Najena herself! Inside it details instructions on how to summon a greater fire elemental using something known as a Flint Streaked Summoning Orb. Information such as this might prove to be quite valuable to a young conjuror in training. Perhaps I could find someone interested in bartering for this knowledge if I also found the orb mentioned in the manual.

Stage 1

I need to look about Deep Forge for a Flint Streaked Summoning Orb.

I looted a Flint Streaked Summoning Orb off the body of the Firelord.

Complete:	Taxaynir is testing spell outlined within the manual.

Start:	I need to speak with Taxaynir once more.
Complete:	Taxaynir L'Nvir was willing to trade a powerful magic item for the manual and orb.

I bartered the manual and orb for a powerful magic item from Taxaynir L'Nvir.

I returned to Taxaynir L'Nvir and bartered the manual and Flint Streaked Summoning Orb for a powerful magical device.

Taxaynir L'Nvir won't talk to u.

Howdy Folks-
Still cannot figure out why others see that book ....and myself *an 80 wizard * cannot see it. Been in Deep Forge a bunch of times and still cannot see that book. ( while my friends are jumping up and down over it ...telling me it's right there )
