I have discovered the wrappings of the mummy called Cartographer Vuladis. Thalbinous said the bandages were a map of Old Tunaria and could show me where to find the Guardian of Eldonis and the Rod of Rathe Shattering. Without that magic rod I cannot destroy the Ewer of Sul'Dae.
I have found what I believe is the Rod of Rathe Shattering imbedded into the Rock of Eldonis.
I tried to remove the Rod of Rathe Shattering, but it would not budge. I now have a feeling of impending doom.
I destroyed the titanic construct called the Guardian of Eldonis. I think I can now safely remove the Rod of Rathe Shattering.
I have claimed the magical artifact called the Rod of Rathe Shattering from the Rock of Eldonis.
I found a way into the Inner Temple, resting place of the Ewer of Sul'Dae and the all powerful Godking.
Using the Rod of Rathe Shattering I managed to destroy the Ewer of Sul'Dae, spawn of undeath.
Seeker Abdeef understood my reasons for destroying the Ewer of Sul'Dae and has rewarded me for the deed.I have destroyed the Ewer of Sul'Dae and stopped it from spilling its curse of undeath into Norrath. After reporting this to Seeker Abdeef he still rewarded me. I may have lost the Ewer of Sul'Dae for the Vizier, but I have saved the entire kingdom, possibly the world, from an undead ending.
Stage 1
Go to the Pillars of Flame and seek out the Rock of Eldonis. I will inspect it for any relation to the Rod of Rathe Shattering.| Start: | Find the Rock of Eldonis. |

The bandages are called "bandages of cartographer vuladis" no capital letters. Dragging him to the corner stopped the bug, as someone else said.

For the orb ring event.. it's timed. If it's constantly despawning on the thrid wave, then you simply aren't killing fast enough.

Ok yes the item may not be all that special, yes FT 14 is nice and good for the longer fights in T7, nut i think it maybe more of a prestige thing, i had done the long quest series and i have something to show for it. Ok so this was nice for those who got it at 60, and they did the same thing for 70.

Flowing Thought = Power. Each extra FT point up to the item cap really does add up on those really L-O-N-G fights where power becomes an issue. I've seen many times that little bit of power has been the difference between winning and losing a major fight. As for the quests, at 70 it is actually possible to do all of them in a day, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Is this quest honestly worth doing? just for ft 14? i dont think its worth such a huge timesink for endless hours.. i guess this IS the epitome of hte concept of "everquest" but still.. i did up to the last peacock, and then gave up. Who in their right mind would do these for such a small reward?

On the Cartographer Vuladis encounter I kept from breaking by pulling one of the adds to near a vase at 750 16 420. proir to that tried several things and encounter kept breaking this seemed to be the sweet spot

It's a timed despawn...you need to kill the ring really fast.

We have all but one eye, Yuex. We can only get the orb up once when we first start the event but on the third wave it always despawns on us.
We have tried to stay close to the orb, in the corner and everything else. We just cant seem to get a name to pop the event always despawns then the orb wont come back up again.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

In the reward choice, you only get the weapons you can use Tear. Also an important thing you can switch your reward from 1h to 2h (don't know for DW) by examining it when it's neither damaged nor equiped

-break encounter problem: cart has 3 gnoll adds that have to travel a long distance... kill his adds one at a time until it is just him and one add, the encounter won't break. The encounter breaks because the adds have to travel so far, its just like you are fleeing... they have too far to travel across the zone.

The Guardian of Eldonis's respawn is 15 minutes on a depop, I assume it's the same if he's killed.

It should probably be noted somewhere that after you read the inscription on the rock you have to pull on the rod. Once you pull the rod, a 15 minute timer starts for you to kill the guardian. If he's not up, you're SOL. Just clicked the rod, and sat there for 15 minutes with my thumb up my butt.

So, after killing the statue you then need to farm eyes with your guild till you get 9, zone in and kill god king, then you get the weapon? Or does EACH INDIVIDUAL person need to have 9 eyes?

if you thik that you wont be able to make it to the cartographer safely heres what i did. group up with a healer or other class that can rez. disband once you get to he temple guardian. run past the temple guard as far away as you can but make sure you stay within the tunnel incase your luck changes by catching aggro from the captin that paths there and make sure that you run in first and your healer is behind you. once you die grp back up with your healer and have them rez. you can play hideand seek with the captin untill he has pathes away. adds are at an absolute minimum once inside and there are always climable walls to evade aggro if your clumsy like me

As a 60 guardian, I was able to get past the temple guardian by hitting tower of stone, guardian sphere and sprinting past him. With the sheer amount of stone skin procs I had going off on myself, I made it past him with ease.

56 Ranger here, I just got my update (did it solo) for Wrapping It All Up. Before I ran past the Temple Guardian, I buffed up. My mitigation is 2184 and my health is 3821 I really didnt think i had a chance. As I entered the Tunnel I hugged the wall on the right side, of course invis. I started running hit sprint ran pass the Temple Guardian untouched. The Cartographer was up, so I didn't have to wait long. as you turn right from exiting the tunnel hug the wall going up the hill, just so that you try not to get agro from captain if he is walking towards you. I set up camp right next to the stairs but on the dirt hill that way the Temple Guardian sitting on top of stairs don't agro me. As The Carographer came close I set Thorny trap on the floor about 1 foot in front of dirt hill. Ok Rangers now that you have your trap set up here comes the fun. Just back up from trap while invis shot Cartographer with Stealthy Fire, then use your Brutal Instinct so you can go crazy with your bow and hit Stream of arrows. It took The Cartographer down to 20% health. Then just whoop his butt. Thorny Trap should hold his adds till the he dies. And just loot the fabric, and escape. I had half life before his adds started to pound on me. Oh almost forgot here are the DOT's i used make sure you have Cajoling Whispers which will stun him,Bite of the Shissar, Mental Burn, and Torment of Rijacki which will do like 300plus DOT every 6secs. all these dots stack. might want to buy Anuks Elixir of Capacity for extra HPS. hehehe. This quest requires the command of the Koada'Dal language.
The quest is initiated by examining bandages of cartographer vuladis which drops from Cartographer Vuladis in The Silent City. He is on the ledge between the two tunnels. You will need to kill him for each group member who needs the drop.
The first step is to find and examine The Rock of Eldonis in The Pillars of Flame. The rock is located underwater around 1996, -265, -540 . It is a clickable rock in front of the The Guardian of Eldonis. In order to click this rock you must speak the Koada'Dal language. This language can be purchased in Castleview Hamlet in Qeynos, or gained by completing a sub-quest titled Knowledge of the Past.
Once completing the language quest or purchasing it you can examine the rock. The quest will then say the Rod of Rathe Shattering cannot be removed and you will have to kill a mob named The Guardian of Eldonis (level 59, epic x2). After killing him examine the rock once again and you'll obtain an item known as the Rod of Rathe Shattering.
Now is the fun part, the next step asks you to enter The Fountain of Life (inner temple). This used to require you to obtain 9 eyes from various x2 and x4 raid mobs in Silent City, along with one person in your raid completing The Eyes of Anashti Sul quest to know the order to place the eyes. This has now been removed.
After doing those things you can then zone into The Fountain of Life to kill Godking Anuk.
