I have volunteered to help Akorra J'Trezin, a member of Neriak's magician guild, The Spurned, with recovering a powerfully dark, arcane item before it is found by citizens of Qeynos or Kelethin. It was reportedly buried somewhere in Darklight Wood.

Stage 1

I need to make a locating stave to find the desired item.

Start:	I am to hunt the treants that tend to the Shadow Oak in Darklight Wood for a useful stave.
Complete:	I found the perfect treant branch to use as a locating stave.

I made a locating stave to find the missing item.

Stage 2

The treant locating stave is pointing towards the Tower of Bone.

Start:	I should look all around the Tower of Bone for the hidden item.
Complete:	I found the area where the buried item was, but it was not there.

Start:	I should inspect the mysterious object I found.
Complete:	I inspected the emblem I found.

I inspected the guild emblem I found.

Stage 3

I need to find out a bit more about what happened to the arcane item that had been buried in Darklight Wood.

Start:	I should speak with members of The Dead at the Palace in Neriak about the missing emblem and arcane item.
Complete:	I spoke with Goeyl Z'Vuear.

Goeyl Z'Vuear admitted to taking the item and losing his emblem in Darklight Wood.

Stage 4

I need to report my findings about the item to Akorra J'Trezin.

Start:	I need to speak with Akorra J'Trezin at the Library of K'Lorn in Neriak.
Complete:	I spoke with Akorra J'Trezin.

I spoke with Akorra J'Trezin.

Although I was not able to obtain the dark and arcane item, I was able to confirm that it did not fall into the hands of Qeynos or Kelethin. Akorra J'Trezin compensated me for my time and the information.

*Kill Treeants outside the Shadow Oak in Darklight woods until you get a update
*It will lead you to the tower of bone where a object on the south side can be clicked on.
*Head to the palace in Neriak and speak to Goeyl Z'uear, he is through the left door just as entering the palace.
*Return to Akkora in the Library to complete the quest.

The first step in getting Akorra her uber special item is to make a dowsing rod. To do this you need to kill treants by the Shadow Oak in Darklight Wood.

Kill Treants outside the Shadow Oak in Darklight Wood until you get a update
It will lead you to The Tower of Bone where you must find The buried item - this looks like a shiny and can be clicked on.
Head to the Darklight Palace in Neriak and speak to Goeyl Z'uear, he is through the left door just as entering the palace.
Return to Akkora in the Library to complete the quest.
