The Spirit of Ab'zheri  

had 5 toons level 47-55 (was scared not to have mezzer in group - but it worked!) and he went down on 2nd attempt. although, had level 65 pally killing outside group.

49 SK, 49 Bruiser, 48 and 47 Assassin did it last night with the help of a 70 Fury. the 70 Fury outside killed the named. after we died 5 times figured that one of your members has to type /lock after engaging the target cause the encounter lock automalically

How long will it take to complete all 4 quest to get the carpet

Killed him last night with a 70 Bruiser (down to 66), 66 Necro, 61 Pally, 56 Defiler, and 54 Bruiser. He died so fast that I was quite shocked.

Took this guy out on the 3rd attempt. Finally had a 70 necro outside group pull and kill all his pets and FD. Then we jumped the mob. Worked like a charm. Now that's what I call team work! :D And CHEERS to the higher lvls who come to help us lowbies.

When you fight the Bay of Anuk be ready. It is one bad *** piece of real estate, and will one shot you with taxes.

Kill him today with 70 Inquisitor (mentored to 60), 60 Monk, 51 Fury, and 50 Assassin. Took a few attempts until we altered our strategy to just focus on Ab'zheri and forget about the pets. This worked and took him down with ease.

grouped up with all lvl 60's and 3 lvl 70's we just smacked him down like someone trying to hit a basket ball.

For low level groups, Ab'zheri can be taken down simply with the following tactic.

Get 2 groups. :) One group consists of players who needs the quest update and the other group is pure support. I suggest lvl's 60+ if possible for the second group with a really good tank.

Now here is the tricky part. Ab'zheri will spawn when a player (who has the quest) gets close. When he spawns he'll LOCK encounter on the player/group that spawned him, thus rendering the support group unavaliable to help.

To avoid complications and an unnecessary group wipe, you will need one quest holder to "de-group" and pop this mob on his own. The rest of the players should stay far back to avoid aggro. That player will die, revive, run back and get re-invited.

Tip: You can try using a scout (if avaliable) to spawn Ab'zheri. He may be able to evacuate himself before dying.

Ok, now that Ab'zheri is up and everyone is back and ready, the "quest holding" group can start combat.

Because Ab'zheri is already up, this time the mob will not lock encounter. The second group can now help in any way possible, even taking aggro from the quest group and killing the mob.

even if u got 60s with you this quest if a pain. but with 70s (i had 2) this quest if like eating cake.

Btw as soon as you kill the dinji his pets die aswell. He also has a 5 min timer :)
