The Riddle of Razorwing  

This quest is initiated after you complete the An Audience with Aaryonar by examining the statue of Razorwing in the center of the first floor of Ascent of the Awakened. Ascent is a zone populated entirely with Epic mobs, and the mobs you will need to clear to complete this quest are all epic x2, with a LOT of health.

1. You need to kill any 65^^^x2 EPIC birds of the slashing talon to get an eye which has a 15% drop rate (highest drop rate of all items it drops) Please be advised that this 15% drop rate is true to its name it will take you a long time to get the drop.
• After putting the eye into the statue it then activates the drakota statue in front of the bird statue kill it for AA/loot and the update (this is the creature you must "hunt down").
2. You then move upstairs and kill the birds of the flapping wing which are 66^^^x2 EPIC and i thing i saw 67^^^x2 EPIC these also have a 15% drop rate for the wing. When you eventually get it put the wing in the statue to activate the second drakota statue on the 2nd floor. Kill it for the update.
3. Collect 8 claws of the slashing talon and 8 gems of the flapping wing, which are located on the first and 2nd floor. They are targetable.

Once you have harvested all the required objects, return to the statue of Razorwing on the first floor to complete the quest and open up the next quest, The Bowels of Bonemire.

Note: From the 9/1 hotfix:

• The statue of Razorwing Steeldown within "Ascent of the Awakened" will now grant a replacement "Totem of Aaryonar" to anyone who has lost it and completed the quest "The Riddle of Razorwing."
• The "Totem of Aaryonar" is no longer removed upon completion of the quest "Feeding the Flames.” It is now removed upon completion of the quest "A Final Froglok Word."
