The gnolls are fed and armed with weapons, but the undead are not letting up. Perhaps a bit of old magic might work. A gnoll shaman named Wuuf has created some totems. I should use them against the undead.

Stage 1

I should speak to the Snowfang shaman named Wuuf about those totems and the Tower of Frozen Shadow. He is in Snowfang Isle.

I have spoken to the Snowfang shaman named Wuuf about the totems.

Stage 2

I should try placing a different totem near the Tower of Frozen Shadow and see what it does.

I placed a different totem near the Tower of Frozen Shadow. It enraged a powerful undead entity.

Stage 3

I should return to the Snowfang shaman, Wuuf, and speak to him about the enraged undead.

I returned to the Snowfang shaman, Wuuf, and spoke to him about the enraged undead.

The gnolls were fed and armed with weapons, but the undead were not letting up. Using old magic, I placed totems near the Tower of Frozen Shadow. They appear to upset the undead and will be a good tool to use against them in the future.

Command of the Gnollish language is required to start or complete this quest.

Speak to Thurr at -945,-519,-2122 on Snowfang Isle in the Great Divide to begin this quest.

Speak to Wuuf, west of Thurr on Snowfang Isle at -903,-520,-2117
Place the gnoll totem that Wuuf gives you near the Tower of Frozen Shadow. Click on the green sparkles at -983,-542,-1821 .

There are many aggressive mobs along the way, but you can invis or sneak past them if needed. Placing the totem will make invis drop.

Return to Wuuf
Go back to where you placed the last totem and place the new one that Wuuf gives you
Kill the an enraged shadowbeast (level 88^) that spawns.
Return to Wuuf to complete the quest.

While on this quest, the enraged shadowbeast will drop a strange shield. Examine it to begin the quest Riding the Winds of Change.
