This quest is given by Siraj al Din.
He asks you to deliver a message to a mining operation on a nearby island - the small isle to the west. Swim over and the ramp up is at 1586,-233,-1474 . When you approach the island you'll get an update and your task changes to rescuing the miners from the sirens.
There are several encounters of solo sirens on this island, they are level 58-59. Once they are killed An Auroral Selkie will spawn. Kill her and return to Siraj to complete the quest.

The Auroral Selkie spawned for me at -1573, -214, -1504. Its the location at the end of the ramp. I invised up tot the end of the ramp and took out the last pair of Selkies and she spawned immediately.

the selkies for this stage of the qst are in the water inbetween the char'gin rock an neurim sister soldier / seer rock.

I found out that there's a spot you can stand if you're a non melee. there's the ramp that comes out of the water. while invisable just go to the opposite end as far back as you can go. that's the spot

Mobs were there this today after server maintenance.

I checked for the sirens within a few minutes of the servers coming up today and no dice. I have not seen them up yet or been able to trigger them in two days of on and off checking so far.

Looks like it may be a long spawn time or triggered possibly. First time i hit the island they were up, couldn't quite get them solo, went back later and haven't seen them since.

Went to and up the ramp at 1586, -233, -1474. Nothing was there at the top. Is there some sort of wall to climb that I was missing as I coldn't go very far on the path at the top of the ramp?

I can confirm that u need to kill the back 2 groups to spawn the name needed

I received Divine Retribution from Siraj al Din after finishing this quest.

The next quest Drowned Treasure, involves swimming out into the sea west from the Giant area in PoF and clicking a Tomb, which will spawn 2 lvl 59 Desert Spirits that agro you, unless you came invis.
You have to kill them, then return to Siraj Al'Din for an upgraded version of the Neck item, and to get what must be the last leg of the quest series, called "Into the Past". This last one is a Heroic lvl 60 quest, that involves exploring some cave in PoF. I'm looking for that cave atm, be glad for any info.

I had to kill all the Selkies to get the Auroral Selkie to spawn, lvl 58^ when she did.

They must have changed that Aszuth cause i just did it and nothing.

Only need to kill the rear set of selkies to spawn the Auroral if you invis there.

It would seem the mining expedition has been attacked and is being held hostage by Selkies. I should see if I can rescue them.
I defeated the selkies and saved the surviving members of the expedition.
Siraj Al Din was very grateful for my help and has agreed to help me with the amulet.I was able to save the surviving Char'Gin, sadly some of them were dead when I arrived.
