This is the quest for the Sage ability to make player-written books. Unlike the other Isle of Mara tradeskill quests, this one has no pre-requisite other then meeting the level requirement of Sage 50.

This level 50+ Sage-only tradeskill quest starts in the Village of Shin. Speak to Meledi Augren at 75,8,-70 .

Ask advice from one of these master sages in the big cities. Speak to any of the following:

Gorowyn - Ooloomoileenlom in The Wards ( 2738, 123, 1146 )

Consult the Apprentice Bookbinder on the 2nd floor of The Tower of the Moon ( -150, 176, -149 ) in Maj'Dul about their bookbinding techniques. He will give you the recipe Bookbinding for Beginners.
Scribe this recipe book.
Make a stonehide leather notebook for Meledi at an engraved desk.
Return to The Village of Shin and give the notebook to Meledi Augren.

Stage 3

I should test out these new recipes.

I tested out the new bookbinding recipes by making a stonehide leather tome for Meledi.

Stage 4

I will return to Meledi in the Village of Shin. She should be somewhere near the House of Augren.

I returned to Meledi with the stonehide leather notebook, and she was very grateful.
