Speak to Elnia Felmerai at 1057, -424, 755 in Storm Gorge in the Great Divide to begin this quest.

Kill 10 artic cliffstriders or living glaciers in Storm Gorge. They can be found around 184,-297,1211 .

Around 50% health the cliffstriders will spawn a smaller version of themselves and cannot be damaged more until the spawned version is dead.

Return to Elnia Felmerai to complete the quest.

Elnia has a theory on the rocks and on the Upheaval, and has asked that I collect pieces of stone from the cliff striders that are found in and near the Storm Gorge. I will need to collect the stones, then return them to Elnia in the Storm Gorge.

Stage 1

I must destroy cliff striders and living glaciers in and near the Storm Gorge for pieces of stone.

I was able to return the stone to Elnia, and help her with her studies.

I was able to collect the pieces of stone from the cliff striders. Elnia believes that the stones contain a latent altering magic, which combined with the findings of the non-magical stones, leads her to believe that the Upheaval was not a natural event, but something caused with unparalleled magical energies. Perhaps further study will reveal who might have unleashed this event.
