Upon finding a pilgrim of Qeynos imprisoned within Freeport, I was entrusted with delivering Valeron Dushire's Testimony to safety. Blurrp Braveblade, a Froglok and devoted follower of Marr recognized the holy icon, and was convinced that I was fulfilling a prophecy. I am not so sure of this, but he spoke of great suffering and innocence oppressed. I cannot stand idly by while such atrocities occur!

Stage 1

Blurrp Braveblade advised me to seek further counsel amongst the priests of the Celestial Watch.

Start:	Some priest within the Celestial Watch must have also had the visions Blurrp spoke of.
Complete:	Priestess Avarona Wenhaver has also experienced the visions.

Priestess Wenhaver agrees that I am now fulfilling a personal holy crusade.

Stage 2

Priestess Wenhaver has been having visions of slavery and suffering of the innocent. It is happening in a long lost jungle city, one that was once occupied by Frogloks.

Start:	I must help the enslaved to freedom and comfort the oppressed that are being seen in Blurrp and Priestess Wenhaver's visions.
Complete:	I was able to help Blipd, and other enslaved Synod Reet Frogloks, escape Sebilis!

Start:	Blipd suggested that I speak with Captain Rroop. He is somewhere within the Reet Resistance Caves.
Complete:	I spoke to Captain Rroop.

Captain Rroop appreciated my freeing of his fellow Synod Reet from their enslavement in Sebilis.

Stage 3

Sathirian Iksar have found the Reet Resistance Caves!

Start:	I must battle the Iksar oppressors, and ensure the continuing freedom of these Synod Reet.
Complete:	All of the Sathirian Iksar that found the Reet Resistance Caves have been defeated.

Start:	I should return to Captain Rroop and tell him of the Iksar defeat.
Complete:	I spoke to Captain Rroop.

Captain Rroop has credited me with saving the resistance movement, as well as restoring his faith.

Stage 4

Priestess Wenhaver told me that "Helping the downtrodden and freeing those enslaved is but the beginning" of my crusade.

Start:	I must continue to fulfill the work of Marr across all of Norrath.
Complete:	I have been blessed by Marr and entrusted with a personal crusade!

Start:	I am to seek the Truth of Marr.
Complete:	Priestess Wenhaver told me what she knew of the Truths of Marr.

Priestess Wenhaver told me what she knew of the tablets known as the Truths of Marr. My crusade is to find them!

Stage 5

Priestess Wenhaver advised me to seek another for more information on the Truths of Marr.

Start:	I must speak with Izzal, an expert on holy artifacts and lore, somewhere in Kunark. Hopefully, I can find a way to gain his attention.
Complete:	I spoke with Izzal Din.

Izzal Din was able to tell me more about the fate of the Truths of Marr.

Stage 6

Izzal Din has heard of an item of malevolence being used by Iksar in Kunark, this may be related to the Truths.

Start:	Somewhere in Kunark is an item of malevolence being used by Iksar.
Complete:	I saved a Swifttail servant from Grandmaster Kordaz.

Start:	I must assure the Swifttail servant that she is safe.
Complete:	The Swifttail servant had more information to give me!

The Swifttail servant told me where I may find the malevolent sword.

Stage 7

I am strangely compelled to find the malevolent sword, as it is my only lead on finding the Truths of Marr.

Start:	I should find the Sword of Malevolence in a weapons rack near the Grandmasters within the Tabernacle of Pain.
Complete:	I have found the Sword of Malevolence!

Start:	I wonder if the Sword of Malevolence has any clues upon it for me to decipher.
Complete:	I inspected the Sword of Malevolence.

The Sword of Malevolence is actually the Truth of Marr! My crusade is complete, as I now hold that which I sought.

The Lightbringer has found this lowly servant worthy of wielding the Truth of Marr! I shall uphold the words of Marr and defend them with my life. I shall protect the righteous, weak and average souls of those whose life has been taken for naught. From this day forth I shall become a living vessel for the ideals of the Truthbringer and if I should ever falter from his grace may he cast me from this life and into the lifeless void. Praise be to Marr!

It Appears that you do not have to do The Shard Of Fear step in order. I did it way back - possibly before even starting the quest (can't recall when exactly) - but when it came to that step it was already updated and I went straight on to the next step.

Enter the West Freeport Militia House, go down the stairs to the jail and hail Kaherdin Surechest at 140,-25,150
Take Valeron Dushire's Testimony to Blurrp Braveblade in Lesser Faydark at -261,-67,371 , standing on a rock in the river near the Fae Court.

He will then send you to The Celestial Watch at the Temple of Life in North Qeynos to speak to Priestess Avarona Wenhaver at 10,-4,-11 .

Speak to Priestess Avarona Wenhaver in North Qeynos.

Priestess Wenhaver will tell you to go to a 'dark and untamed' place in Kunark and look for a sign of Marr.

Perform the sub-quest, A Reet's Freedom.
Return to Priestess Avarona Wenhaver in North Qeynos.
Go to the Kunzar Jungle and fly to The Abandoned Village. From there, walk east until you see an ethereal sword sticking out of the ground ( -643,21,-162 ) . You will be stunned at -694.68,38.95,-225.50 and it will initiate a conversation between you and a spirit, which tells you to find the paladin epic weapon, The Truth of Marr.
Return to Priestess Avarona Wenhaver in North Qeynos.

The priestess tells you a bit about The Truth of Marr, and recommends that you to go find Izzal Din, a historian of holy lore and relics, in the Jarsath Wastes -689,-108,-854 . Izzal will not offer a quest, simply proceed to the Somborn Graveyard in Loping Plains step next.

Izzal Din sends you to find A Faygannen Bloom.

Go to the Somborn Graveyard in Loping Plains.
Behind one of the crypts is a treasure looter (82^^). When you attack the looter 3 more spawn and join him.
Slay the looters and take the Faygannen Bloom back to Izzal.

Izzal tells you a bit more lore and informs you that the iksars have been using an item of malevolence to inflict pain in their worship of Cazic-Thule.

Somewhere in Kunark find an Item of malevolence being used by the Iksar.

Clear the Shard of Fear.

Mark of Terror drops off Terror, the last mob when clearing the Shard of Fear.

Go to Kunzar Jungle to The Tabernacle of Pain and hail a Swifttail caste servant at -250,-62,181 .
You will immediately be attacked by a ring event of ^81 monks that concludes with Grandmaster Kordaz. He stuns a lot and is very difficult to solo so, you will want to bring friends. If you fail you LOSE your Mark of Terror and must get another!
After Grandmaster Kordaz is dead, talk with a Swifttail caste servant again and she will send you to the Monk Temple of the Grandmasters at Tabernacle and loot the Malevolent blade. ( -110,-39,190 )
