Now you need to go back to the Lava Field and grab 10 magmatic crystals. So, hop on the horse and head to the Temple of Solusek Ro. You can find them in the following locations (might be more, but these are the ones I used):

Once you have all 10 updates, use the horse to go back to the Goblet of Ro and speak with Smapty to complete the quest.

Smapty, a member of the Sootfoot Talent Society, has hidden himself near the Goblet of Ro in an amusing attempt to create secret weapons and protections from the Void invaders. I may regret it later, but I have agreed to help him obtain some magmatic crystals. He won't tell me exactly what they are for, and I'm not certain that I would understand it if he did tell me.

Stage 1

Smapty wants me to harvest magmatic crystals to be used in some mysterious, and likely ridiculous, plan.

Start:	I must harvest ten magmatic crystals from around Lavastorm's Lava Field.
Complete:	I harvested ten magmatic crystals for Smapty.

I harvested ten magmatic crystals for Smapty.

Stage 2

I should return to Smapty now that I have the magmatic crystals he wanted.

Start:	I should return to Smapty near the Goblet of Ro in the Wounds of Lavastorm with the magmatic crystals.
Complete:	I spoke with Smapty.

I returned to Smapty with the magmatic crystals.

Smapty, a member of the Sootfoot Talent Society, was very excited by the ten magmatic crystals that I presented to him. Though, I do suspect that they were for himself and not for any secret plan or protection from the void invasion.
