Actually I zoned into the room and they did not pop on me upon entering the residence. I also entered the room invis so the only ones who were aggro that could have attacked me were 2 of the three thugs and the Interrogator and Patrician but even as I entered they DID NOT attack me even while seeing through my invis. Was able to fight the three thugs by themselves then I pulled the patrician and after killing him the interrogator. By the way I was a 52 fury when doing and completing this quest. Hope it helps.

It appears that when you pop in to the room, you do not land in the **exact** same spot... You can be off a few pixels or whatever in any direction. First time I popped in, the trio in the corner aggro'd and I moved in the wrong direction...got out of control and died.

2nd time popped in, and noticed I was slightly closer to the Partrician, and he aggro'd and I ran...

3rd time... I popped in and no one aggro'd. I buffed my couple of small wards...and rooted then eliminated the trio...moved to that side of the room, took care of the interrogator, then eliminated mr Partrician.

Apparently the quest does scale, so mentioning levels is not too helpful, but...the trio were 54 dbl downs, the interrogator was 55 sngl down, and the other guy was 54^... I'm 55...

Move nothing.

THE SELFISH PARTRICIAN ATTACKED THE MOMENT I ZONED IN before I had moved or anything. So be careful. He heals himself too, so keep interrupting if you can.

Went upto the first available majdul residence and entered and was in this instance. Like the guy said...Use any of the instances.

Should be pointed out all Tears quests are level based. I am level 58 and some are 59 mobs for quests that are described as 49 to level 48 characters.

Yes, mobs that seem to be right on you will only agro if you move.
