The Tale of the Gigglegibber Grump  

This was the original Frostfell 2005 quest. It was absent for a time, then returned during Frostfell 2008.

To start this quest, talk to Pinchy Presentpeeler in either West Freeport or Qeynos Harbor, near the Magic Closet. She tells you that the Gigglegibbers might know where Lord Bowsprite is.

NOTE: Before you leave town on this quest, you should pick up some supplies. These will be needed in two of the four sub-quests.

• 5 carbonite clusters - T3 ore node harvest, requires 90 Mining (or purchase from broker)
• 5 gold clusters - T3 soft metal node harvest, requires 90 Mining (or purchase from broker)
• 100 basic coals - sold by any tradeskill fuel merchant for 6c  each

The Frostfell elves say that the Grump has taken over their home and kidnapped their leader, Lord Bowsprite, and asks your help in finding him, saving their land, and returning all of the missing Frostfell presents.

1. Speak to any Gigglegibber. The closest ones are the Gigglegibber scouts inside the nearby banks in both cities.
• Qeynos: Found in Qeynos Harbor at 687, -20, -41 Copy
• Freeport: Found in West Freeport at 199, -2, -117 Copy
2. The goblin tells you that the hideout is "at the bottom of the water, under the docks, where the halfies and fairies play."
• This is under the docks of Enchanted Lands. Swim under the docks and click on the manhole cover at 41,-30,118 Copy to enter The Gigglegibber Hideout (Frostfell).
3. Head north up the hallway until you reach the King's room. The Gigglegibber King's throne is up a shabby wooden structure off in the eastern part of the room.
• Complete the subquest Unlocking the Elfin Lord, which has 4 subquests as well:
• Gigglegibber Mayor - from a Gigglegibber ballot counter
• Gigglegibber Melodies - from Imadeus Gigglegibber
• Making Coins - from a Gigglegibber blacksmith
• Subterranean Underwater Vessel - from a Gnomish inventor
4. Once you have released Lord Bowsprite and spoken to the Gigglegibber King about the grump, return to Pinchy Presentpeeler.
5. She will now offer you the subquest Removing the Grump. Once you accept the quest, speak to Pinchy to be sent to her homeland.
6. After you complete Removing the Grump you can auto-complete this quest inside the Elfin Wonderland by clicking the present next to Grimagus at -650,-20,-312 Copy .

• Dark Frostbite Goblin (2013)
• Burnt Gingerdread Man (2012)
• Frigid Snowmound (2011)
• Festive Gigglegibber Cloak

Retired Rewards

These were retired in 2013 and are now made by crafters (from Scholarly Pursuits for a Festive Frostfell III).

• 4 Silver Shiny Baubles

In 2005, when this quest was introduced, the reward was your choice of a Freeport Snowglobe or a Qeynos Snowglobe. Those reward choices are no longer available.
