I've found an odd object - a ring blank. I think there is more to this object than meets the eye.

Stage 1

With a little effort, I believe I can transform this snapped ring into something better.

Start:	I need to find a ring face for this ring. Perhaps I can find something in the crates that are scattered around the Wailing Caves.
Complete:	I've found a ring face to use on the ring blank.

I've been able to change the snapped ring into the Abhorrent Ring.

Applying a little bit of effort, I've been able to change the ring blank into an Abhorrent Ring.

This quest is initiated by examining "a ring blank". This item drops from monsters in the Wailing Caves. I received my drop from a Ree Sentry.

You must examine crates scattered around the Wailing Caves to find a ring face for the ring (auto-update). I found the crate for the ring face at -46, -30, -101 . It could be by the strongbox deceivers on the lower level, but it may be random.

Once the update is received, you may need to re-examine the "a ring blank" to attach the ring face. However it could auto-update for you without needing to examine.

The reward is The Abhorrent Ring and a small amount of experience.
