Sleeping Ugly  

This is a Guide Quest. On Live servers it can only be received from a Guide. On Test there are no guides so NPCs exist there to give out the quests. Information regarding Starting Zone and Mob are from Test.

I met a handsome prince who is trying to rescue a princess, who was turned by an evil enchanter into a scarecrow. The prince had learned a riddle that might hold a formula for a potion to break the spell.

I must find the ingredients that the prince needs.

1. The first line of the riddle is, "Citrus sweet from bush be took"
• Collect 5 murdunk oranges
2. The second line of the riddle is, "several roots from the ground not brook"
• Collect 5 tuber strands
3. The third line of the riddle is, "and saliva from a howling crook"
• Kill gnolls until you get an auto-update for canine saliva
4. I must bring all the ingredients for the potion back to the prince.

You must harvest in tier 2 zones to get the updates for this quest. It seems that any gnoll should give the update; the ones we killed were in Antonica. Return to the guide, and when everyone who has the quest returns, you will accompany him to his princess. Once she is freed, your quest will complete.

I helped the prince rescue the princess... though I'm not sure he'll thank me.
