Missions of Gearful Importance  

The last step is to report back to Agent Blenkoweeble at Gnomeland Security Headquarters in Steamfont. The rewards are a choice between: Earrings of the Gnomeland Watcher, Gnomish Ring of Security, Helm of the Gnomeland Protector, or Vambraces of the Gnomeland Protector.

Only one engineer was up when I went into the assembly plant. I killed that and tried killing the grouped mobs around the incomplete clockworks. That didn't seem to work, so I started killing the wanderers flying above me. Shortly after I killed two of them, four engineers started walking around the room. It might have been coincedence, but that's my 2cp. :)

if the engineers are not there (i killed everything in room over 30 mins), zone out and in, and there they are :)

you guys might think i'm retarded but...wheres the guy you start this quest at again???........cordinates....

Magus Thornbolt in Mechanamagica Retrofitting was a pain due to the number and respawn rate of the little flying bots in the room. We succeeded by pet pulling Magus Thornbolt from across the room. No social agro from flying bots or other mobs. Pet used was 54 Illusionist pet, with our Guardian taunting the named as soon as he came in range.

Webin offers this as help on finding Engineers related to this quest.

"Here's what I experienced: When I arrived in the assembly plant, there were 8 "activated klakdroid"s linked in 4 groups wandering around. There was a targetable "recharging station" at -148, 20, 57. There were also the 4 inactive "preassembled klakdyne"s and the inactive Klak'Anon Warhulk. I killed the activated klakdroids and the recharging station (because it was in the way), which turned on the klakdynes and the warhulk. I killed them as well. I spent the next 45 minutes or so clearing the other spawns in the room, but I am pretty sure that's not needed. Eventually four engineers spawned, and wandered around similar to the klakdroids did. This was timed exactly with the respawn on the inactive klakdynes and warhulk, and a non-targetable recharge station. When I killed the four engineers, the recharging station became targetable (and destroyable), and 8 klakdroids spawned, returning the room to how I initially found it."

Engineers don't seem to exist. I have cleared the room they are supposed to be in, twice. including the named and his 4 friends. They don't spawn.

Malscrew is a flyer, so look up.

Can't find Malscrew...are there PH's for him or does he just spawn on the little metal bridge?

We did this quest yesterday and we did find exactly 4 engeniers in the factory. All other named were up as well, and they seem to respawn fairly quickly. They drop no loot though.

Any sightings on the clockwork engineers yet?

mechnamagica is up in the north part of the map in a tunnel leading off some room, the tunnel has a downward slope to the room can't remember exactly where. has anyone seen clockwork engineers...i have been in the factory and used tracking but still haven't seen them

The Mechnamagica Retrofitting room is a little tricky. There is a small hallway off of the Clockwork comms and maintance room. It leads down in a circle almost below this room and this is where you will find the update!
