Speak to Shilah Mar at -1402, -229, -365 in Sinking Sands to begin this quest.

Speak to the Shade of the Great Crocodile at -1436, -229, -468 .
Kill some dervish croc hunters along the beach.
Speak to the Shade of the Great Crocodile at -891, -127, -340 .
Find 5 crocodile eggs. Known locations include -1018, -136, -410 , -1052, -136, -409 , and many in the -757, -111, -527 area.
Speak to the Shade of the Great Crocodile at -859, -145, -1105 .
Kill 6 unliving soldiers near the Eye of Anuk. ( -697, -156, -1274 )
Return to Shalih Mar to complete this quest.

The desert can be one of the most deadly places to go exploring, and many people who enter them will never return. It takes a strength of will to face the challenges of the desert head-on, and come out alive. Shalih Mar told me that U'lla, the Great Crocodile, has sent a Shade to test me within the desert. I should seek out the Shade and perform the tasks it asks of me.

Stage 1

I must seek out the Shade of the Great Crocodile, and see if I can complete the Shade's tasks.

Start:	I should search for the Shade of the Great Crocodile near Caiman Beach

Start:	I must stop the crocodile hunters from overhunting the crocodile hunters on Caiman Beach

Start:	I have completed the first of the Shade's tasks, and should seek it out again near the Sandslide Passage

After having completed the tasks given to me by the Shade of the Great Crocodile, I have a newfound respect for the desert and the dangers it contains within. U'lla admired my bravery and strength, and has granted me an increase to my power for my efforts.
