Hodgemottin is experimenting with various corrosive substances and has asked you to retrieve samples of processed spider venom from the Mazkeen witch doctors in the Steamfont Mountains.

Stage 1

Get samples of Mazkeen spider poison from the Mazkeen witch doctors found in the Steamfont Mountains.

Start:	Get poison samples from Mazkeen witch doctors.
Complete:	Retrieved poison samples.

I have retrieved all the Mazkeen poison samples for Hodgemottin.

Stage 2

Return to Hodgemottin with the Mazkeen poison samples.

Start:	Return to Hodgemottin
Complete:	Returned to Hodgemottin.

I have returned to Hodgemottin with the Mazkeen poison samples.

Hodgemottin asked me to get some refined poison samples from the Mazkeen witch doctors in Steamfont Mountains. I retrieved the poison samples as requested by Hodgemottin and returned to him.

Opens once "Vitriolic Components" has been completed.

Talk to Hodgemottin at Gnomeland Security Headquarters to start this quest.

Get 8 poison samples from Mazkeen witch doctors. ( -702, 130, 608 ) This is an uncommon auto-update, so may take a while.

Note: Mazkeen witch doctors and Mazkeen savages share the 2 spawn points in each camp closest to the fire. You can get 2 witch doctors, but usually get one of each.

I finished the other quest and this one 'Caustic Action' is not working - Hodgemottin is not responding to my hail - just says 'stay back I'm working with acid ...' so this is dead on arrival for me.

This quest is among the worst quests currently in the game.

You can find a camp with different types of Mazkeen at -735.08, 130.10, 611.39

In the middle of the camp two Mazkeen Witch Doctors will spawn.
After you kill the Mazkeen Witch Doctor a placeholder will respawn.
It has always been a Mazkeen Savage for me. Kill it and next spawn
will be a Witch Doctor again.

Update for quest was 2 out of 3.
