1. Speak to Brumley and he'll discuss modifying the small transporter to allow two-way travel to the surface.
2. You'll be given the recipe for "Resonance Crystal" and "Portal Attunement Device". To make them both you'll need 6 bornite nodules, 6 umbrite, 1 thalumbral root and 2 thaumic coal. There's a workbench on the next platform down if you didn't bring one with you.
3. Return to Brumley and show him your work.
