Izzal Din, an ancient holy artifact expert and researcher within Jarsath Wastes on Kunark, was amazed at the weapon that I obtained at the Tabernacle of Pain. He explained that it is the reformed metal tablets that once held the tenants of Marr, but how the Truth of Marr spent a detrimental amount of time within the demi-plane known as the Sphere of Malevolence. As a result of that time, it has become corrupted. He believes that there must be a way to cleanse the sword and restore it to its prior glory.

Stage 1

Izzal Din did not know how I might cleanse the Truth of Marr.

Start:	Someone must know something about cleansing corruption from holy items.
Complete:	Priestess Avarona Wenhaver knew of an old text that may be helpful.

Priestess Avarona Wenhaver in Qeynos' Celestial Watch knew of an old text that may hold the key to restoring the sword.

Stage 2

According to an ancient text I am to "cure the irascibility of the item once gallant with Rings of Contrition!" Priestess Wenhaver warned me that they "must be well guarded or within the clutches of very powerful beasts."

Start:	What beast could possess the Rings of Contrition, and what could they be?
Complete:	I found a Ring of Mercy!

Complete:	I looted a Ring of Valor!

Start:	What beast could possess the Rings of Contrition, and what could they be?
Complete:	I have claimed the Ring of Generosity!

I found three rings that clearly were forged as a set, as they each have an inscription very similar to the other.

Stage 3

If the three rings I found are the Rings of Contrition then how do I use them to restore the sword?

Start:	The rings are the only clue I have to go on.
Complete:	The three rings merged into one when they were aligned together!

Start:	I now hold the Rings of Contrition, but I do not know how it is to restore the sword.
Complete:	Izzal Din knew how to read the inscription and thus cleanse the Truth of Marr!

After finding the Rings of Contrition, Izzal Din was able to learn how to cleanse the Truth of Marr. I now wield the pure and holy Truth of Marr!

What beasts could possess the rings of contrition, and what could they be?

Ring of Valor: body loot from Imzok's Revenge in Protector's Realm.
Ring of Mercy: body loot from Tairiza the Widow Mistress in The Tomb of Thuuga.
Ring of Generosity: body loot from Hoshkar in Veeshan's Peak.

Inspect a ring after you get all 3. Head back to Izzal Din and you're done!
