Darathar has to be killed 2.5 times in terms of hit points. Every time you burn Darathar 25%, he will stun the raid, spam chat with a message about his wings and heal to 100%. You can then burn him to 50%, then 25%, then to death, with each 25% causing him to heal and stun.

He has a single powerful elemental AoE called Flames of Ages. This does direct damage and damage over time, so healers have to be ready.
