I have looked at the waypoints indicated and throughout the area and I've found no note anywhere. Is this quest glitched?

The note does move and those are just two possible locs that we know of. It should always be down around that inside area of the vamp cave though!

The time has come to deal with those responsible for kidnapping and feeding upon the citizens of Neriak. Larxena D'Ziett of the Dread Guard has asked me to travel east of where I found the thinbloods and destroy their creators, the T'Rethir vampires. While I'm doing so I also need to find out why they've started attacking Wanderlust Fair.

Stage 1

Larxena D'Ziett wants me to kill the full blooded T'Rethir vampires found lurking northeast in the Nerian Highlands.

Start:	Slay several T'Rethir vampires
Complete:	I have slain the vampires

Start:	Look for motivation behind the T'Rethir attacks
Complete:	I found a blood-scrawled note written in Thexian

I have slain the vampires and found evidence of Thexian involvement.

Stage 2

I should return to Larxena D'Ziett and show her the note I've found.

Start:	I need to return to Larxena D'Ziett
Complete:	I have spoken with Larxena D'Ziett

I showed Larxena D'Ziett the note I found. She believes the T'Rethir have been persuaded to attack by the Thexians.
