Click the floating book at ( 91.84, 44.84, 105.65 ) to unlock other rooms. Click a book on a pedestal at ( 116.87, 44.31, 66.39 ) in the library to begin this quest.

While you are there right click on the Moldy Tome in the same room at 108.35, 45.32, 70.10 it is up high on the shelf you many need to jump on the table to access it. Read the tome and it will attack you, kill it to obtain the key. (This is the key to unlock the chest with the shard).

I have discovered a leather bound diary in the library. Many of the pages are torn and missing, but from what remains I believe I am holding Tserrina's own diary. I should look for the rest of the pages as this diary might help me find and defeat Tserrina.

Find the missing pages of Tserrina's diary:

Page 2: found in library ( 108, 45, 70 )
Page 4: found in library ( 99, 44, -55 )
Page 6: found in library ( -48, 48, -106 )
Page 5: from the upper nook ( -112, 50, 53 )
Page 1: from the reference desk ( 113, 45, 53 ) - Door with this page does not unlock until you kill Spectral Librarian Emiida
Page 3: from the lower reading room, seems to open once you have all the other pages ( -90, 49, -136 )

Examine the diary to add the pages.
Return the diary to the pedestal in the library ( 108, 45, 70 )
Defeat the Shadowed Tome of Ages Past, which spawns when you place the diary at ( 0, 47, -22 )

I have collected the missing pages and completed Tserrina's diary. It appears that both she and Mayong Mistmoore experimented with her genetic makeup and turned her into the monster that she is rumored to be.
