I've run this quest many times. This time the mole rat wasn't in the den. I'm not sure if this is a timed spawn issue or a bug. The den is empty. I tried to zone out and back in, no luck. I'll finish all quests in this zone and try back.

Nemain wants the wolves in Darklight Wood to have their den back. Kill the mole rat that inhabits their den and feed its blood to the wolf pups.

The mole rat is named Gulgar the Usurper and is found in a deep wolf den at 169, -62, -229 .

The wolf pups are in a shallow den at 263, -63, -190 . The hand icon will appear when you mouse over them, simply click to feed one.

Return to Nemain for your reward.

Nemain would like the wolves in Darklight Wood to have their den back. She wants me to travel into the wolf den and slay the usurper. Once dead, she wants me to take its blood, find the wolf pups in the shallow den, and feed the blood to them. Nemain claims this will help pull the wolves into the natural, hateful existence that is life in the Darklight Wood. The wolf dens are north west of the Wanderlust Fair.

Stage 1

I need to feed the blood of the usurper to the wolf pups whose mother it slew.

Start:	I need to kill the usurper and collect its blood.
Complete:	I have collected the blood of the mole rat.

Start:	I need to feed the mole rat blood to the wolf pups hiding in the shallow den.
Complete:	I have fed the blood to the wolf pups.

Start:	I should return to Nemain at the Shadow Oak.
Complete:	I have spoken with Nemain.

I have fed the blood of the mole rat to the wolf pups.

I have fed the blood of the mole rat to the pups whose mother it slew. Nemain believes the pups will be stronger because of it.
