Those Who Were Lost  

Completed this as a lvl34 Kerra ranger.
Use your stealth and avoid aggro as you move along the coast north of Lazy Drain.
When the lamia spawn they will break your stealth, run on a little before stopping to fight them and you won't still be in the spawn area and force another to spawn before you've healed.
The last one, at the mine, I found it was safest to stealth then run in from the shore and back to the waterline, dragging *my* lamia away from the locals.
Fun quest and some nice collectables on the way out there.

for this quest all you do is follow the costline till you approach the cave then you go inland following the hilside

got last update at 441.07, -1.88, -1040.19

The last coord (435.60, -2.42, -1,047.00) is off the bottom of the map, so is very likely to be wrong.

If you start with the most western cord you will get an update and told to continue to head north. Just head north slowly killing them along the way and you will get several more updates until you reach the Misty Cave and that should be the last one you need

I had a lot of trouble with this quest.

Part of the problem is that the lamias you've already killed will keep respawning as you continue forward, but you won't get any credit for killing them again, which makes it very confusing. In total I probably killed at least 15 lamias, even though there's only 4 in the quest.

I also had a LOT of trouble triggering the last lamia. I eventually found it at the point in the coastline (walking northward) right before the regular lamia mobs, and a bit more inland than I expected. (I triggered the others by walking along the water's edge, but could not trigger the last that way.) If you find yourself walking past the regular lamia mobs, turn back, you've gone too far.

You will know you've got the right one when you get a ding when the lamia spawns (for finding her). You get 2 dings for each lamia, one when you find her, the other when you kill her. This must happen 4 separate times along the coast to complete the quest.

I have been slaying and slaying the agitated lamias that are spawning on me, but it doesn't seem like anything happens.. I see them becoming dryads and thanking me, but for how long are you supposed to do this?
