I've found a wooden shaft that may have been intended to been made into a large pick axe. Judging by its size, it looks as if it was made for a giant. Perhaps one of these giants might have the head for this shaft.

Stage 1

I need to find the pick axe head intended for this wooden shaft. I'm certain one of these giants in the Thundering Steppes should have the pick axe head.

Start:	I need to slay the giants of the Thundering Steppes until I find the pick axe head for this shaft.
Complete:	I've found the pick axe head.

I've finally found the pick axe head on one of the giants.

After a long time searching, I've found the pick axe head for the wooden shaft. It's a perfect fit!

dropped today in a small chest - grey drop - on a heroic firerock giant (27).

Took about 20 giant kills to get the update - also from a firerock giant - but all types of giants gave the 'you did not find any quest itesm' message so it appears any giants could give the update normal and heroic.
