The One Who Opened Their Eyes  

We attacked this critter last night, my guild is a great guild with a great alliance group, but we are not hardcore raiders. We tried him several times and was very close. I think if it hadn't been so late, we probably could have taken him out.

The guild raid city tasks are based on the average level of the group. Which is why he's denoted as he is. He has a chance of dropping armor molds, which make very nice armor. Our 12 consisted of all 70's and one 67. Mr. Profane for us was 72 or 74x2 epic (if memory serves me correctly.)

Either way, this fellah had alot of stuff going on around him. Casters in the group seemed to be stunned alot. I was at max range so I am not sure if this is another aoe of his that hits casters or if I just wasn't in the range for that one. There was an emote that said something about will being drained, but no one seemed to feel the effects of this or what it would do. (no change on my character stats at all when this message would show) Also he calls in extra helpers (believed to be shadow knight based. We have yet to determine if this is based on the death of members or if it's just an instance where every so many seconds he calls for help like previous tasks.) Lastly and the part that did us in time and time again... was the aoe dot. This dot has an ENORMOUS range around him. I was as far as I could possibly get ranged, if I moved at all, I would be out of range and it still hit me. When it hit it's arcane based and generally did 1500+ each tick and ticked by wicked fast. Pretty much so fast that no one seemed to be able to get a cure off on it. Magic resistance seemed to make a slight difference.

If there's a group of 70's out there that have defeated him, suggestions and tips on how best to attack him would be most helpful! I know if we figure it out, we'll make sure to get it out here.

does everyone need to get the raid quest from the register or can jus the raid leader get it?

Fearless shielders (lizards) : they come in batch of 2 or 3. They are level 27. There is always one Epicx2^^^ and the rest are Epicx2^^

Enraged swarmers / enraged stingers (bees): they come in batch of 8 to 12. They are level 27. A few are Epicx2^, the rest are simply Epicx2

Noxious scorches / noxious slamers (scorpions): they come in batch of 4. They are level 27. One is Epicx2^^^ and the reste are Epicx2^^

Creeping crawlers (spipders): they come in batch of 8 to 12. They are level 27. A few are Epicx2^, the rest are simply Epicx2

There were also a bunch of bats (forgot the name) that were exactly like the bees and spiders (bunch of 10-12)

Prince (forgot his complete name): He is in the camp on the left of the entrance. He is level 27 / Epicx2^^^. He comes with 3 friends Epicx2^^

Taegso the Wretched : He is a root-like monster, level 27 / Epicx2^^^. He is beside one of the monoliths. He comes with 4 zombies Epicx2^^

There was another root-like named monster level 27 / Epicx2^^^. He is beside one of the monoliths. He comes with 4 zombies Epicx2^^

Shenot the Forsaken: He is a root-like monster, level 27 / Epicx2^^^. He is beside one of the monoliths. He comes with 10 zombies Epicx2^^

Boss-mob: Piali the Profane, yet another root-like monster, level 29 / Epicx2^^^, he is alone in the central house. Just keep him for last.

Conclusion:

Nothing special in the zone. Just kill the mobs, kill the named. Be carefull of the Bees/Bats: sometimes, one will fly around and get lost in the surroundings. However, if you come too close, it will aggro and bring 9 of his pals. That sometimes puts some spice in a raid encounter when you are already engaged.
