The Giftgiver's Dilemma  

As of 2013 players must first complete A Deepice Mystery before this quest will be available.

Speak to Gardy Ex-Giftgiver at 224, -29, -1403 Copy in Frostfell Wonderland Village to begin this quest. It can be repeated once per year.

Gardy, a festive elf in the Frostfell Wonderland Village, has gone by the name of Ex-Giftgiver ever since he was beat up and all of his snowglobe gifts smashed to pieces. He is looking to get back into the holiday spirit, but to do so, he needs to have his bag of gifts refilled.

Quest Steps

Gardy is convinced that snowglobes are the perfect gift.

1. Speak with LuAnne Greyton, a fine constructor of Norrathian snowglobes, in Antonica's Windstalker Village. ( -1841, -38, -506 ) Copy
2. Return to Gardy and inform him of the attack on the snowglobe maker's shop.
3. Search out Gnip Gnopp, a wondrous constructor of gnomish toys and gizmos, in Steamfont's Gnomeland Security.
• Get there quickly by taking the portal at the tree in Frostfell Wonderland Village to Gnomeland Security! ( 277,-35,-1363 ) Copy
4. Clean up Gnip Gnopp's Gizmo Shop so that he can start cranking out the toys for Gardy.
• Complete the subquest Gnopp's One Stop Shop for this step.
5. Return to Gardy and give him Gnip Gnopp's delivery guarantee. You can get back to the Wonderland Village quickly through the return portal at Gnomeland Security.
6. Gardy wants to update his festive outfit in honor of his new gifts.
• Speak to Tinsel, one of the Frostfell elves in the Frostfell Wonderland Village, by the Frostfell Looms at 119, -18, -1521 Copy .
7. Return to Gardy and give him the new elf cap.
8. Go ask Tinsel if she has a festive cloak for Gardy.
9. Return to Gardy with his new cloak.
10. Use the gizmonic zapper to shock 8 clockwork toys.
11. Return to Gardy now that the clockwork toys have been stopped from running amok.
• Gardy finally identifies the goblins rummaging through his shipment of clockwork toys as Santa Glug's helpers.
12. Confront one of Santa Glug's helpers about their bullying of Gardy. (speak to either Gasher or Glitzen)
13. Speak with Santa Glug to try and reach a compromise.
14. Tell Gardy the good news!
• Starting in 2010 Gardy will now offer Raiding the Gifty Storehouse upon completion of this quest.
