Carpus believes the soft shell eggs result from griffins eating one of the nearby creatures. I have been asked to gather blood samples that can help us determine which creature it is. It is important to get rid of the problem before introducing young griffawns to the pride.

I returned to Carpus and told him my findings.

After gathering the blood sample from various creatures, I returned them to Carpus. Based on the reaction within the vials, he was able to isolate the icegaze basilisks as the problem. The next step will most likely involve me dealing with the icegaze basilisks in some way.
