I returned to Carpus and told him my findings. After gathering the blood sample from various creatures, I returned them to Carpus. Based on the reaction within the vials, he was able to isolate the icegaze basilisks as the problem. The next step will most likely involve me dealing with the icegaze basilisks in some way.
