The othmir of Nipik's Haven have recently come under attack from the Yha-Lei fishmen. Darien Hasskel is wondering why, since the Yha-lei have been relatively peaceful until recently. To get to the bottom of this, Darien has asked that I work with him in helping to solve this mystery.

Stage 1

I must collect samples of Yha-lei writing to help decipher the stone found by Darien.

Find out what the othmir fishermen know about any possible trading with the Yha-lei.

I spoke to Meerl the Old, who helped me find an old crate that contained some communications between the othmir and Yha-lei.

I was able to help Darien figure out what might have driven the Yha-lei to violence. It seems that the fishmen might have been influenced by the appearance of Drunder, which could have sparked their sudden warlike tendencies. Darien is going to report the information to the other members of the Deepwater Circle, but for now, my part is done.

Speak to Darien Hasskel at -1236,-538,3193 in Nipik's Haven in the Eastern Wastes.

Collect 6 writing samples by slaying Yha-lei on the beaches around Nipik's Haven. This is a common update.
Return to Darien.
Talk to Old Meerl the Fisherman at -1309,-540,3424 .
Click on the crate in the water at -1325,-546,3631
Speak to Darien to complete the quest.
