The grobins used shrumbler slime to poison the water in the Amethyst Pond. Sentry Trillis believes that the spores from the small budlings tended by the Shroombas could counteract the slime, and he has asked me to collect some.

Stage 1

I should look for the budlings planted within the areas tended by the Shroombas, and return the spores I collect from them to Sentry Trillis.

I have collected the spores I needed.

I was able to collect several Shroomba spores. Sentry Trillis should be able to use them to purify the pond water.

Sentry Trillis thinks you can counteract the slime the polluters are adding to the pond with the spores of the small budlings tended by the Shroombas to the west.

Collect six spores. The Shroombas are around the tree and to the west. You're looking for small spotted mushrooms called "a Shroomba budling" - they'll puff spores when you get close to them. Right click and select "collect spores" or double click.
Return to Sentry Trillis.
