Lieutenant Borbin Happens is looking for a way to deal with the drolvargs' superior strength. The mountain giants have been fighting the drolvargs for a long time, but have no wishes to ally themselves with the Terenites. Borbin has found a giant who will deal with him. His name is Hrodryr and Borbin wants to sell some imbued ore to him. Before he risks transporting the ore, however, he wants me to meet up with Hrodryr and make sure he has the money ready for payment. Once I verify payment, I am to place a beacon in the ground that will serve as an anchor point for the ore to be teleported to. I am to meet Hrodryr in the hollowed out tree north of the Lakeshore Ruins.
