Deputy Stoutgut has finally told me why he hates the lamia so much. Apparently they are the ones who are corrupting the minds of the young halflings. He said they are using the young halflings as workers in their mine along the Seamist Coast.
While investigating the halfling village I found the lamia are responsible for the missing halflings.
I've reduced the number of lamia charmers and temptresses near the village.
I told Deputy Stoutgut what I've done to help the villagers.Deputy Stoutgut in the Enchanted Lands told me that the Lamia are causing problems with the young halflings. He asked me to help prove what he was saying all along was correct. After bringing back proof in the form of the heads of many lamia he gave me a very nice piece of armor.
Stage 1
Deputy Stoutgut wants me to help him prove he was right all along about the 'wimmin' causing trouble amongst the villagers.| Start: | Deputy Stoutgut fears the lamia are charming the younger halflings. He has asked me to venture into the halfling village to investigate the trouble. |

This quest is given by Deputy Stoutgut.
You must:
- Venture into the Halfling Village 387, 0, -487 .
- Find the Lamia Temptress on the northern shore 229, 1, -1045 also appears near 407, 0, -507
- Report back to Deputy Stoutgut.
- Kill 15 Lamia Charmers and 6 Lamia Temptresses on the north shore.
- Return to Deputy Stoutgut for your rewards. You receive a book and your choice of armors.
Reading the book will initiate the "Leatherfoot Tales: The Houndslayer, Part One" quest.

had trouble finding her,, Try standing with your back to lookout stump. Head north along the road untill you are half way between the first two houses on your left. She spawned when I ran in that area.

I found Deputy Stoutgut over by the wall under a tree. Irritating how he moves around. The new loc is 172.53, -1.05, -483.97

The lamia temptress appeared at 407.9, -0.58, -507 for me, west of where I actually got the village update.

Searched the halfling village several times over and killed all of the halflings on the south side of the temptress spawn point but she will not seem to pop as Dearlok has noted. I know that I have made her spawn before but that was months ago. Need some feedback on how to do so.

I found the halfling village at (370.11, -1.37, -523.79). SIGH...I was pacing and suddenly it popped up. Hope this helps

The Lamia Temptress now spawns automatically after you venture into the Halfling Village. Its takes a second, but she pops.

The quest did not work for me until today. I talked to Stoutgut again and he finally gave me my reward, so i believe they fixed it.

I cant seem to finish the quest, i cant talk to deputy stoutgut for hand in do i need to do the fundraiser quests ?

Is this quest working properly now? I am trying to turn in the completed quest to Stoutgut and he keeps trying to give it to me again instead of rewarding me.

Anyone else not able to turn this in. Just completed tonight and went back to speak to Stoutgut and it wouldn't give rewards or armor.....

There is a temptress that spawns in the village, but if she isnt up you can find one on the shore as indicated above. Unfortunately I killed the one in the village just before I got this quest cause she was looking at me funny...

Found teh Lamia Temptresses in the northwestern Corner of the Enchanted Lands at the Beach, near loc pos350,neg 1010

Lamia Temptresses as well as charmers are over on the northern shore like the description says. They are not by the village.

I can find the lamia temptress in the village but where are the 6 that you have to kill afterward? They are not in the area of the charmers and I can't find them anywhere else either.

Lamia will pop on that loc after you Venture into the Halfling Village

Ummmmmmm........ I cant find the lamia temptresses. My quest journal says they should be in the same area as the charmers but i cant seem to find them. can anyone help me out
