It seems Deputy Stoutgut is very upset with life in general. When asked about the fundraiser for the museum he tried to bite my head off. Rather than come up with a fundraiser, his suggestion for the museum was to make a Leatherfoot luck charm.
Stage 1
To make a charm necklace I will need the following parts:
Start: | Goblin ears. I will need several ears to start my charm necklace. |
---|
Complete: | I found the ears needed for this necklace. |
---|
Start: | Thread. I will use spidersilk from the elusive hatecrawlers. |
---|
Complete: | I obtained enough spidersilk from the hatecrawlers. |
---|
Start: | A sturdy clasp. The hooked tails of the suffering lashers will do. |
---|
Complete: | I obtained hooks to use as the necklace's clasp. |
---|
Start: | A large needle to thread the ears together. A briarpaw claw would work. |
---|
Complete: | The briarpaw claw is strong enough to pierce the ears and thread them together. |
---|
I have gathered the items for the necklace.Stage 2
I should return to Deputy Stoutgut.
Start: | Deputy Stoutgut will show me how to string this necklace together. |
---|
Complete: | Deputy Stoutgut helped put the finishing touches on the necklace. |
---|
While showing me how to string the ears, Stoutgut put the needle through his thumb. Deputy Stoutgut showed me how to string the ears to make a Leatherfoot luck charm necklace. He said he would deliver it himself to Deputy Nettlebrine for the museum. I think she'd rather had funds than a luck charm, but at least I won't have to explain Deputy Stoutgut's reasoning to her.
