Uric M'Ots is a very rude Teir'dal who inhabits the Nybright Camp. He asks you to go kill 10 sharpthorn shambling mounds. These can be found in many different varieties near the Greater Faydark entrance. The first quest from Tuck Longtoes also asks you to kill mobs in the same area, so it's worth getting both.

Once done, return to Uric M'Ots for your reward and the next quest.

Save yourself some time and do this along with It's Big, It's Heavy, It's Wood

Instead of traveling all the way back to the "start" of the instance, one simply needs to leave the area and go to the Glenn of the Unicorns. The tree spirits there will drop this root.

As a FYI, I am a 54 Wizzy, and I had NO problems with these lev 58 (non heroic) mobs.

Almost forgot that these guy will also drop the Treecaller logs needed for the Quest, It's big, It's Heavy, It's wood. A Lev 54 Quest.

Edit: I do not know what the drop rate is for the listed mobs above, but it is VERY low for the sharpthorn tuber root in the location I am at. Edit: The Tuber roots drop from the shambler xxx in the little river/stream. Seems to be either 1 or 2 per spawn.

Uric M'Ots, the Nybright family toxicologist needs some tuber roots from the sharpthorn shambling mounds that can be found in the Southeastern corner of the Lesser Faydark. It seems that he is running low at the moment and would like to restock his supplies so he can develop some additional hemotoxin.

Stage 1

I need to kill sharpthorn mounds in the Southeastern region of the Lesser Faydark and collect their roots for Uric M'Ots.

Start:	Kill sharpthorn creatures and collect their tuber roots for Uric at the Nybright camp.
Complete:	Looks like I've got enough of these tuber roots, I should get these to Uric.

I've collected enough sharpthorn tuber roots for Uric, I should return to him at the Nybright camp.

Stage 2

I need to get these sharpthorn tuber roots to Uric at the Nybright camp.

Start:	I need to get these roots to Uric at the Nybright camp.
Complete:	I've given the sharpthorn roots to Uric.

I've handed these roots over to Uric.

I've managed to get Uric M'Ots, the Nybright family toxicologist the roots he needed from the sharpthorn shambling mounds. He claims that he uses those roots to make a rather volatile hemotoxin. I wonder if he has any other work for me?
