Yes they are easy to see and all you have to do is look for the tall white group of mushrooms, they will be found at the base of them. :)

Sorry... but the budlings are so easy to find! Just die! There are four mushrooms surrounding the respawn point that reset very quickly. I finished that part of the quest before finding any of the other mobs.

In one of the recent stealth patches they made the mushrooms a little larger, and increased the spawn locations. All reports are that they are very easy to find now.

These mushrooms are a pain in the butt to find. Don't even bother looking in Swamp of No Hope. They aren't there. Start at -275, -85, 1342 and just wander around that area. You will have all 4 in no time. They are clustered in with the tall stalks of mushrooms on the logs laying on the ground.

This area is also known as the Swamp of No Hope. The location at the top is unreachable, and is incorrect. (Mods please update. ceeamee is correct.) Also, these mushrooms are not difficult to see as long as graphics are not turned way down.

Collect ingredients for the stew that keeps the Krupp slaves passive:

Kill 5 dragonhawks for their gooey innards. These are found around the Eastern Pens of Riliss
Kill 5 carrion recluses for their soft segments. These are found near rocks in the swamp.

a spotted budling
Gather 10 spotted budlings from the area near the mushrooms

These can be found growing on logs at the base of the long-stalked mushrooms in the area near -275,-85,1342 . You may have to be in first-person to see them!
They do appear on other logs, and sometimes on the ground, throughout the southern part of the swamp. Look for the clumps of long-stalked mushrooms and a budling may be at the base.

Return the ingredients to Pen Keeper Valjik

The frogloks on Sathir's Span are growing restless, and Pen Keeper Valjik has asked that I collect the ingredients for a special sedating stew and return them to her. I must gather three items: the gooey innards from the dragonhawks, the soft segments from the carrion recluses, and spotted budlings found near the mushroom colonies found on the west end of the swamp. I should be able to locate all the items I need from within the Swamp of No Hope.

Stage 1

I must collect the items that Pen Keeper Valjik needs for the stew.

Start:	Gooey dragonhawk innards collected.
Complete:	I have enough gooey dragonhawk innards.

Start:	Soft recluse segments found.
Complete:	I have collected the soft recluse segments I should need.

Start:	Spotted budlings collected.
Complete:	I have collected enough spotted budlings.

I have collected all of the ingredients I need.

Stage 2

I must return the ingredients to Pen Keeper Valjik on Sathir's Span.

Start:	I must speak with Pen Keeper Valjik.
Complete:	I have spoken with Pen Keeper Valjik.

I have completed the task Valjik gave to me.

I was able to collect the items Pen Keeper Valjik requested for the stew.
