This info should be put up top with the rest of the quest walk through. I missed it the first time too while skimming through comments. The skeleton you're looking for is INSIDE the Obelisk zone, not outside in Feerrott.

Did this one today, it works.
Respawn time on the ph's are 10 or so mins, took around 10 respawns to get all of them to spawn (and grab them fast enough ;) )

OK the change to the change LOL. the cloud apparently sends you to a random location. Second time I entered it, it sent me to commonlands.

The loc is NOT bogus. I just got the quest today.
If you evac in the zone it will drop you almost on top of it.

Oh btw, if you enter the cloud there where you evac to, it will send you back to Antonica near the oracle tower.

The loc for the skeletonis completely bogus. And there is NO skelleton at the entrance of the Obelisk of Lost Souls. Obelisk has free access now, so has it been removed?

I can't get Kej to spawn either. The other 3 spawn almost every time I clear the place holders...except for Kej.

We got the spawns in the exact order as the quest lists them. My theory is that it's somewhat like Varsoon access, where each named kill has a chance to spawn the next in sequence. But I can't be certain.

camped for 5 hours today and got all 4 basically ran around whole zone and killed ever shadowed group. kul and na bolth poped about 4-5 times while i was camping, saw zej twice and gron once since he was the last mob

Gericault, you cant zone in by left clicking you must right click fyi, and i know that toons in the mid 30's can zone in but not sure if there is a lvl requirement.

Worked for me this way not sure if it wil for everyone or if it was just luck.
I didnt kill the ^ arrow ones i let them go and just guild the groups of no arrows.
1 named poped after i killed all groups of no arrows.
Then after i had all the Phs ^
i killed all of them and another named poped.
Then i repeated took me only 2 hours to get all the named .

Gericault, if u click on the purple cloud in Feerrott, sorry that is required to finish another access first.
If u find purple cloud in other zones like Ant, CL, Zek, EL. U suppose can zonein even u are very low level.

I can't even seem to be able to get into the Obelisk zone. I am level 46, and when I try to click on the obelisk I get nothing but the name of the zone. Any ideas?

I've killed ph's for hours and have yet to see a single named spawn. Is there some known problem with these not spawning if they are gray to you?

I had no probs Spawning # of the For Soulharvesters But The 4th one refuses to pop for me (Kul)
I have Killed the Phs at his spawn location 25 times and no Kul(-17 +406)
Is there a trick to this or Need I kill Shadowmen Somewhere else to make him spawn?
I have killed all of the Groups of Shadowmwn around 4 times each as well.

K bro, the skeleton is right below your feet when you zone it... Look on the ground and if you put pointer over him you will see quest.... Cant miss it...hope this helps

I can't find this skeleton or the scroll to start this quest. -7, +142 isn't anywhere near the entrance to the Obelisk of Lost Souls.

You must log in or create an account to post messages.This quest is initiated by examining a scroll next to the skeleton at the entrance of The Obelisk of Lost Souls ( -6.96, 623.17, 142.41 ) . It unlocks the keys to progress within the zone. You must slay the following monsters:
- Soul Harvester Kul: -17, 615, 406
- Soul Harvester Na: -29, 613, 316 or -11, 611, 267
- Soul Harvester Zej: 140, 639, 400
- Soul Harvester Gron: 110, 620, 250
The shadowed men in the zone are the placeholders. Kill them to spawn the rares.
This will grant you access inside. Though you will still need to do another separate quest, Summoning the Creator, to unlock the creator door and the lower levels.

I found a scroll that contained the notes of an unlucky adventurer. He explained through his observations that there are four large shadowed men that he had seen entering and exiting the Obelisk. He is under the assumption that these four beings hold the key to getting in. I need to seek out the four and destroy them to see if I can find a way of getting inside.
I killed the four shadowed men and can now use their essences to gain access into the Obelisk.I killed the four shadowed men the adventurer spoke of. I took from them their essences that animated them, and should now be able to trick the Obelisk into believing that the four are present when entering. I now have access to the door into the Obelisk.
