Bainyn Fairwind, the Prophet of Rodcet Nife, has tasked you to investigate the source of a disease said to be spreading in the Edgewater Drains of Freeport. Even though most would consider the problems of Freeport to not be the concern of those with more noble beliefs, if the disease were to spread, it would quickly become a concern of everyone's.

Stage 1

Venture to the Edgewater Drains underneath Freeport and find the source of infection.

Complete:	You found there to be an agent of Bertoxxulous attempting to pollute the water. He has been dealt with.

Start:	After your encounter with the agent of Bertoxxulous, you feel a bit sick. Speak with Bainyn about it.
Complete:	You have spoken to Bainyn and informed him of your unfortunate exposure to the disease the agent of Bertoxxulous was attempting to spread. He has asked you to collect components for a cure.

Start:	Obtain a vial of distilled oaken root from Viddle Sprocketbender in the Orcish Wastes.
Complete:	You have collected the requested vial.

Start:	Collect a superb noxious remedy potion.
Complete:	You have collected the cure potion.

After finding the agent of Bertoxxulous attempting to pollute the water in Edgewater Drains, I confronted him and became infected. Bainyn says that he can help cure the disease.

Stage 2

Return to Prophet Bainyn Fairwind at the Temple of Life within North Qeynos as soon as possible!

Start:	Return to the Prophet with the requested components needed to make your cure.
Complete:	You have been cured of the ailment received from the agent of Bertoxxulous.

You have returned to the Prophet and he was able to cure your ailment.

I have investigated the Edgewater Drains to find an agent of Bertoxxulous attempting to disease the water in the area. I have eliminated him, however, I became infected myself! Upon returning to Bainyn, he helped get the disease cured.

Now that you've found out Anashti Sul is responsible for the undead, Prophet Bainyn Fairwind wishes you to head into Edgewater Drains to stop a follower of Bertoxxulous from spreading a plague. This could be a little difficult at the quest's intended level. May want to consider taking 1 or 2 people for some help.

Once you're in The Serpent Sewer, take the level 1 entrance to Edgewater Drains. When you finally get in there, head to 103.06, 32.50, 22.77 and kill an Agent of Bertoxxulous. He'll update your quest and now you have to return to Bainyn as you feel a bit unwell. Well really... what did you expect from a disease-carrying Ratonga? The prophet tells you that he needs a Distilled Oaken Root vial, which you can buy from Viddle Sprocketbender in Zek.

Head there now. You'll find Viddle sitting on the docks, so he's not hard to miss. Buy the Distilled Oaken Root Vial for 6 silver. Now, head back to the city and buy a Superb Noxious Remedy from the broker... or find a friendly alchemist to make one for you. Once you have both of those, go back to Bainyn to complete the quest and receive your choice of reward: Polished Symbol of the Prime Healer or Silvered Symbol of the Prime Healer

Note: The noxious remedy step may not update when you pull one from bank or guild bank. If so - find a merchant, sell it and buy it back to update the quest.
