Crushing Betrayal  

If you do not destroy his coffin he will do an AOE lifetap and become almost impossible to kill, when his coffin is destroyed he is relatively easy to kill. From the top platform look for a thin bridge to the area with like 20 coffins, his is the largest one.

Just finished this quest last night. Yeah, it's old, but with so few postings about how the fight goes, I figured it would be useful info at some point for anyone retroing these adventure packs. Tried T'rath with me (50 inquisitor) and my partner (43 necro) a couple nights ago. I was holding my own, but the necro was just too low and I spent all my time healing her and her pet, that we only got him down to orange before the necro died, and then it was all on me (btw, we had destroyed his coffin pre-fight). Came back a couple nights later with same mix...50 inquis and 43 necro, with the addition of another necro mentoring me at 50. This time the fight was cake. He died rather quickly, and we got update (again, wiping the coffin out pre-fight). It helps to make sure that at least part of the surrounding mobs around the raised area are wiped out, including the little fairies who fly around. You do not have to do them all, but at least one side with the aggroing fairies gone as well will ensure that you don't get adds in middle area.
NOTE: there was some confusion as to the instanced version. For this one it was not just straight Crypt of Thaen, it also had Twilight in the instanced title as well. Hope that helps.
